The Collaborative Research Center “Episteme in Motion. Transfer of Knowledge from the Ancient World to the Early Modern Period” examined of processes of knowledge change in European and in non-European pre-modern cultures. After twelve years of funding by the German Research Foundation (DFG), it ceased its research on 30 June 2024.
